Legal compliance
The main UK legal requirement is the Equality Act 2010 which requires organisations to make “reasonable adjustments” so disabled people are not placed at a disadvantage. We advocate for greater recognition of the physical and psychological benefits that being on the water brings to people with disabilities and why these should be encouraged and where needed, action taken.
